Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Construction Labourers to join our project teams in Morwell, VIC. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, and supporting various construction activities. Ideal candidates will possess a valid White Card, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, day-shift work in a dynamic construction environment. While previous experience is a plus, we are open to individuals who are keen to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general site clean-up and waste removal to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist tradespersons (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Handle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely across the site.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety policies and procedures.
- Support site management with general tasks as required.
- Maintain high standards of punctuality and attendance for assigned shifts.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Construction Induction Card (White Card) is mandatory.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Strong understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on a construction site (even minimal).
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Drivers license and reliable transportation.
