Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career in construction? Willmott Dixon is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Construction Labourers in Worthing. No prior experience is required, and we are committed to investing in our new team members. We understand that obtaining a CSCS card can be a barrier to entry, which is why we will cover the cost of your CSCS card and provide the necessary training to help you get started safely and effectively on site. This is a fantastic chance to learn practical skills, work on exciting local projects, and build a rewarding career with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers) with their tasks.
- Loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles and moving them around the site.
- Preparing the construction site by clearing debris, rubbish, and hazardous materials.
- Digging trenches, foundations, and other excavations as directed.
- Operating hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Mixing concrete, mortar, and other building compounds.
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding and site hoardings (under supervision).
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site at all times.
- Learning and developing new construction skills through on-the-job training.

Preferred Qualifications
