Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Trainer to join our Human Resources team in Bradford. The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs across various departments. This role is crucial in ensuring our employees possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, adapt to new technologies, and maintain Santander UK’s high standards of service and compliance. You will work closely with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create impactful learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities within the organization.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, participant guides, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various instructional techniques.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices in corporate training, and new learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees post-training to reinforce learning and facilitate skill transfer to the workplace.
  • Manage training schedules, logistics, and resources efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering corporate training programs.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong instructional design capabilities, including adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional training certification (e.g., CIPD Learning & Development, ATD).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry and its regulatory environment.
