Job Description
We are seeking a highly dedicated and resilient Crime Scene Cleaner to join our specialized team, operating under a significant public sector contract in the Coventry area. This role is critical in providing a vital service to the community, ensuring safe and thorough remediation of challenging environments. You will be responsible for the meticulous cleaning and sanitization of crime scenes, trauma sites, and other biohazardous locations. This is a demanding but incredibly rewarding position, requiring an individual with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain composure in sensitive situations. Full comprehensive training, personal protective equipment, and a supportive team environment will be provided to ensure your success and safety in this high-pay role.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive cleaning and sanitization protocols at crime scenes, trauma sites, and other hazardous locations.
- Safely handle, package, and dispose of biohazardous waste and contaminated materials in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment and tools.
- Document all activities and complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, health and safety guidelines, and public sector contract requirements.
- Maintain professionalism and discretion at all times, respecting the privacy and sensitivity of each situation.
- Work effectively as part of a team, responding to call-outs as required, potentially outside of standard hours.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license and access to reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform demanding manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning, facilities management, or environmental services role.
- Certification in biohazard cleanup, hazardous waste handling, or first aid.
- Experience working in a public sector or regulated environment.
- Demonstrable understanding of COSHH regulations.
