Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Culinary Arts Instructor to join our dynamic faculty. This role is crucial in shaping the skills and careers of aspiring chefs, particularly those joining us through international sponsorship programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of various culinary techniques, excellent teaching abilities, and a commitment to mentorship. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, conducting practical demonstrations, and guiding students through our comprehensive culinary curriculum, while also providing support to our diverse international student cohort.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging culinary arts lessons and practical demonstrations across various cuisines and techniques.
- Assess student performance through practical exams, written tests, and ongoing evaluation, providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor students, preparing them for successful careers in the culinary industry and fostering their professional growth.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized learning environment, adhering strictly to industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course material enhancement, and program innovation.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and institute events.
- Provide specific support and guidance to internationally sponsored students, helping them integrate and succeed within the program and local community.
- Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise and extensive experience in various culinary techniques and cuisines.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent extensive professional culinary experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations or in multicultural environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or advanced culinary certifications (e.g., Certified Executive Chef, Certified Culinary Educator).
- Previous teaching or training experience in a post-secondary culinary education setting.
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those common among international student communities.
- Experience with international student recruitment, advisement, or support programs.
- Published culinary works or significant achievements in culinary competitions.
