Job Description
Are you an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic team? The Modern Gentleman Barbershop is seeking a dedicated Barbershop Sweeper / Front Desk team member for our bustling Sarasota location. This crucial role ensures our shop maintains its pristine appearance and that every client receives a warm welcome and efficient service. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing the front desk and keeping our salon spotless, all while enjoying the fast pace and potential for generous cash tips from our appreciative clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an impeccably clean barbershop environment by regularly sweeping hair, sanitizing chairs and stations, and performing general tidying throughout the day.
- Warmly greet all incoming clients, manage check-ins and check-outs, and direct clients to their barbers.
- Answer phone calls professionally, provide information, and assist with scheduling appointments using our booking system.
- Process payments accurately, handling both cash and credit card transactions.
- Assist barbers with minor tasks such as gathering capes, towels, or preparing stations when needed.
- Ensure retail product displays are well-organized, stocked, and appealing to clients.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and high-energy atmosphere for both clients and colleagues.
