Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and proactive Part-time Customer Service Officer to join our Geraldton branch. This role is perfect for someone seeking consistent afternoon hours without weekend commitments, providing essential support to our valued customers. You will be the first point of contact, assisting with inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring every customer experience is positive and efficient. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service in person
- Assist customers with various banking inquiries, account management, and transactions
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking solutions or refer to specialists
- Maintain a strong understanding of ANZ products, services, and policies
- Adhere to all compliance and security procedures
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions with accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Reliability and punctuality for afternoon shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (6+ months)
- Familiarity with banking products and services
