Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Customs Border Support within the Federal Government. This vital role provides essential administrative and operational support to frontline officers, contributing directly to Australia’s border security and customs compliance. You will be responsible for a range of duties that ensure the smooth and efficient processing of information and goods, upholding the highest standards of national security and regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for customs and border control operations, including data entry and record keeping.
- Assist with the processing of documentation related to imports, exports, and traveller declarations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding customs procedures and requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and information systems.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as required by team leaders and management.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge of border security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal government policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this federal government role.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications
