Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of automation.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the DevOps lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of network protocols and security practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
