Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient systems, supporting our mission to provide exceptional cloud services. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across all environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical systems.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Knowledge of network security and compliance standards
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
