Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher to join our kitchen team for casual evening shifts, with an immediate start. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are meticulously cleaned and maintained, supporting our chefs and cooks in delivering an outstanding dining experience. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashers efficiently and safely.
- Hand wash specific items such as pots, pans, and delicate kitchenware.
- Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glassware are spotless and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area and kitchen back-of-house.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling appropriately.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and report low stock levels to kitchen management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role (not essential, full training provided).
- Current RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) if required to assist in bar areas.
- Food Handler’s Certificate (not essential, but an advantage).
