Job Description
Are you passionate about pets and love the idea of an active, independent outdoor role? Pawsitive Paths Pet Services is seeking a dedicated Dog Walking Route Manager to join our growing team in the Wolflin area of Amarillo. This role is perfect for self-starters who thrive in an autonomous environment and have a deep affection for dogs. As a Route Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own daily schedule of dog walks, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pets in your care, and providing excellent communication to pet owners. You will enjoy the flexibility of structuring your routes while delivering essential services to our clients, spending your days in various neighborhoods and parks across Amarillo.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a daily schedule of dog walks and pet visits.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under your care, including proper leash handling and hydration.
- Provide exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship to client pets.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and pet behavior.
- Handle client keys, access codes, and personal information with utmost security and confidentiality.
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, always prioritizing safety and comfort.
- Report any concerns regarding pet health or behavior to the company and pet owners promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive and professional image for Pawsitive Paths Pet Services.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for animals and experience caring for dogs.
