Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Drywall / Plasterer’s Assistant to join our skilled team in Folkestone. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in construction, specifically within interior finishing. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided on-site. You will work closely with experienced plasterers and drywall installers, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic indoor construction environment, with the added benefit of weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist plasterers and drywall installers with tasks such as mixing materials, cutting boards, and preparing surfaces.
  • Help with the application and finishing of plaster and drywall, under direct supervision.
  • Transport materials and equipment to various work areas on-site.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Learn and apply new techniques for drywall installation, taping, mudding, and plastering.
  • Support the team in meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
