Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and physically capable Dumpster Loading Laborer to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. This role is crucial to our operations, involving the safe and efficient loading of various types of junk into dumpsters and removal vehicles. You will work alongside a dedicated team, interacting with customers, and ensuring that every job is completed with professionalism and a smile. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load junk, debris, and unwanted items into dumpsters and company vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting regularly, often involving items weighing 50+ pounds.
- Assist with sorting and organizing items for recycling, donation, or disposal.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs efficiently and effectively.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely, such as dollies, hand trucks, and brooms.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) throughout the workday.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
