Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated E-commerce Data Specialist to join our growing digital team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on e-commerce sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Your insights will directly inform strategic business decisions, optimize product offerings, and enhance the overall online shopping experience. This is a high-demand position for someone who is passionate about data and its power to drive e-commerce growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive e-commerce performance dashboards and reports.
- Analyze sales data, website traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into customer purchase patterns, product performance, and promotional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to implement data-driven strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar web analytics platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of e-commerce business models and KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL for querying databases.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
