Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-minded individual to join our remote team as a WFH Survey Programmer – Technical Data Entry Role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a home-based environment and possesses a strong aptitude for working with data, technical systems, and ensuring accuracy. You will be responsible for programming online surveys using our proprietary software, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical support for survey deployment. This is a critical role that bridges data entry precision with basic programming logic to bring research concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and script online surveys from questionnaire specifications using internal survey platforms.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance and testing of programmed surveys to identify and resolve logic, display, and data capture errors.
- Collaborate with project managers and researchers to understand survey objectives and translate them into functional survey designs.
- Manage and maintain survey data files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to data standards.
- Provide technical support for survey deployment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Implement data validation rules and logic checks to ensure high-quality data collection.
- Document programming specifications and changes for future reference and continuity.
- Assist with data cleaning and preliminary analysis as needed.
Required Skills

- Aptitude for learning new software and technical platforms quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with survey programming software (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey Apply, Decipher, Confirmit) is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with market research principles or data collection processes.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Data Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in a technical support or data analysis role.
