Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented E-commerce Personalization Engraver to join our fulfillment center team in Huntsville. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced laser engraving machines to personalize a wide variety of e-commerce products, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to production schedules. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to product excellence, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and fulfillment environment. Full training on specific equipment and personalization software will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain laser engraving machines for personalization of various products (e.g., gifts, merchandise, electronics).
- Load and unload materials and products into laser engraver, ensuring proper alignment and setup.
- Review design specifications and ensure accurate engraving based on customer orders.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to identify and correct any imperfections or errors.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting of engraving equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency to operate machine control software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to read and understand English instructions and safety manuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with operating any type of machinery or equipment.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus but not required.
