Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Migration Assistant to join our remote team on a contract basis. This is an immediate start position, perfect for someone eager to gain experience in digital transformation projects. You will play a crucial role in supporting the migration of client e-commerce platforms, ensuring data accuracy and smooth transitions. This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with diverse project teams from anywhere. Full training on specific migration tools and processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the data collection, cleansing, and transfer of product information, customer data, and order history from legacy systems to new e-commerce platforms.
  • Support the content migration process, including product descriptions, images, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on migrated data and content to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform functional testing of new platform features and user flows post-migration.
  • Document migration procedures, issues, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure timely completion of migration tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the migration team as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
