Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Migration Assistant to join our remote team on a contract basis. This is an immediate start position, perfect for someone eager to gain experience in digital transformation projects. You will play a crucial role in supporting the migration of client e-commerce platforms, ensuring data accuracy and smooth transitions. This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with diverse project teams from anywhere. Full training on specific migration tools and processes will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the data collection, cleansing, and transfer of product information, customer data, and order history from legacy systems to new e-commerce platforms.
- Support the content migration process, including product descriptions, images, and marketing materials.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on migrated data and content to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Perform functional testing of new platform features and user flows post-migration.
- Document migration procedures, issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure timely completion of migration tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the migration team as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
