Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated E-learning Design Intern to join our innovative EdTech team for a valuable placement experience. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about education technology, instructional design, and creating engaging digital learning content. You will work closely with experienced instructional designers, educators, and multimedia specialists, gaining hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of e-learning development. This placement offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world educational projects and develop foundational skills in a supportive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and modification of online course materials, ensuring alignment with instructional design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Support the creation of engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and interactive elements for various e-learning modules.
  • Help to review and test e-learning content on our learning management system (LMS) to ensure functionality and a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and translate them into effective digital learning activities.
  • Conduct research on emerging e-learning trends, tools, and best practices to inform future development.
  • Provide administrative support to the EdTech team, including organizing resources and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in education technology, instructional design, or e-learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a team.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories or instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
