Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented E-Waste Dismantler / Recycler to join our team in Grand Falls-Windsor. This is a hands-on, full-time position within our indoor facility, focusing on the safe and efficient processing of electronic waste. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to environmental sustainability. You will be responsible for disassembling electronic devices, sorting components, and preparing materials for further recycling or safe disposal. This role is crucial to our mission of reducing environmental impact and promoting a circular economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently dismantle various types of electronic waste (e.g., computers, monitors, small appliances) using appropriate tools.
  • Identify and sort different materials such as plastics, metals, circuit boards, and batteries for proper recycling streams.
  • Operate basic processing equipment after training (e.g., balers, shredders) as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a secure work environment and responsible material handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Assist with inventory management and material staging as needed.
