Job Description
Join the Bay Shore Eco-Lodge team as an Eco-Tourism Lodge Assistant! This unique opportunity allows you to live and work in a beautiful, remote natural environment, making a direct impact on our guests’ experience and our conservation efforts. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to support the daily operations of our lodge. You will play a key role in ensuring guests have a memorable stay, contributing to various aspects of lodge management, guest services, and light maintenance. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals passionate about nature, hospitality, and a unique living arrangement. Accommodation is provided on-site as part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Support daily lodge operations, including light housekeeping in common areas and guest rooms.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met and maintaining a clean dining environment.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, offering helpful information about the lodge and local eco-activities.
- Participate in light maintenance tasks and groundskeeping to ensure the lodge and surrounding areas are tidy and safe.
- Help organize and facilitate eco-friendly guest activities such as guided walks, nature tours, or evening programs.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and assist with restocking as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
