Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured training programs focused on emergency planning, disaster response protocols, and recovery operations.
- Support the Emergency Planning and Resilience team in administrative tasks related to emergency preparedness documentation and resource management.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of emergency drills and exercises.
- Learn to utilize various emergency management tools and communication systems.
- Contribute to the development and updating of emergency plans and procedures under supervision.
- Aid in post-incident assessments and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with community stakeholders and partners to build strong collaborative networks.
- Shadow experienced emergency management professionals during real-world incidents and planned events (where appropriate and safe to do so).
Required Skills

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (or willingness to obtain one) is highly desirable due to the nature of potential response duties.
