Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Manager to oversee our hotel operations during the overnight hours in Croydon. This pivotal role is perfect for an experienced hospitality professional looking to advance their career with a world-renowned brand. You will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining hotel security, and managing the night team, all while upholding Hilton’s high standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and motivate the night audit team, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, as well as inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Conduct comprehensive night audits, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Monitor hotel security and safety procedures, responding to emergencies as necessary.
- Ensure all public areas are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with the front office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Perform wake-up calls and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
- Complete daily financial and operational reports accurately and on time.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel supervisory or front office role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience with OnQ PMS.
- Multilingual abilities, especially in a second European language.
- First Aid and Fire Safety certification.
