Job Description
We are excited to offer an Endodontic & Periodontic Shadowing Internship opportunity for aspiring dental professionals. This hands-on, entry-level internship is designed to provide invaluable exposure to the specialized fields of endodontics and periodontics within a bustling clinical environment. As a Shadowing Intern, you will observe our highly skilled specialists in action, gain insight into diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, and advanced clinical techniques. This is an unparalleled chance to understand the day-to-day operations of a specialized dental practice and connect with experienced practitioners. No prior dental experience is required; we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe endodontic and periodontic procedures, including root canals, surgical periodontics, and implant placements.
- Gain exposure to patient consultation processes, understanding patient concerns and treatment options.
- Learn about dental imaging techniques, including X-rays and 3D scans.
- Familiarize yourself with sterile techniques and infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
- Shadow team members to understand appointment scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
- Participate in clinic discussions and case reviews, when appropriate.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
