Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Energy Auditor to join our growing team in Fremantle. As an Energy Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site energy assessments of commercial buildings, identifying opportunities for energy savings, and providing actionable recommendations to our diverse client base. This role involves data analysis, report generation, and client communication, contributing directly to our mission of fostering a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Collect and analyze energy consumption data, utility bills, and building specifications.
  • Identify energy saving opportunities, including HVAC systems, lighting, building envelope, and industrial processes.
  • Perform calculations to quantify potential energy and cost savings.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with clear recommendations, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation plans.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a professional and understandable manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant energy codes, standards, and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Utilize specialized auditing equipment and software effectively.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in energy auditing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial building systems (HVAC, lighting, controls).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites within the region.
  • Familiarity with energy auditing software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental) or a related field.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or other relevant energy certifications.
  • Experience with building energy modeling software.
  • Knowledge of Australian energy regulations and incentive schemes.
  • Experience with renewable energy technologies.
