Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to earn a high hourly rate on weekends? AEG Presents Australia is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Ushers to join our casual team on the Gold Coast. This is a fantastic chance to work at some of the most exciting events in the region, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals with great people skills and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all event attendees upon arrival.
- Direct patrons to their seats, facilities, and other event areas efficiently.
- Verify tickets and credentials for entry and access to designated zones.
- Provide accurate information about event schedules, amenities, and venue policies.
- Assist patrons with special needs or requests, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
- Monitor assigned sections for safety hazards, crowd control, and general cleanliness.
- Respond calmly and effectively to patron inquiries, concerns, or emergencies.
- Collaborate with security and other event staff to maintain a secure environment.
- Adhere to all venue policies and procedures to ensure smooth event operations.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to weekend shifts.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during events.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or event environment.
- Current First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Familiarity with the Gold Coast's major event venues.
