Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Fashion Styling & Editorial Intern to join our creative team. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vibrant world of fashion editorial and styling within Atlantic Canada. You will work closely with our lead stylists and editorial team, contributing to the creation of compelling fashion content for our digital and print publications. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead stylists on photoshoots and editorial projects, including preparing outfits and accessories.
- Organize and maintain the styling closet and sample inventory, ensuring everything is cataloged and accessible.
- Research emerging fashion trends, local designers, and talent for upcoming editorial features and campaigns.
- Support the editorial team with content planning, brainstorming, writing, and meticulous proofreading tasks.
- Coordinate logistics for shoots, which may involve prop sourcing, location scouting, and scheduling.
- Assist with the creation of engaging social media content that promotes our fashion and styling features.
- Learn about industry best practices in fashion styling, editorial production, and content marketing.
Required Skills
- Strong, demonstrated interest in fashion, styling, and creating editorial content.
- Basic understanding of current fashion trends, designers, and brands.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in G Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to thrive and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Fashion, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related creative field.

- Experience with basic content creation tools such as Canva or entry-level photo editing software.
