Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Federal Reserve / Central Bank Assistant to join our secure facility in Waterbury, CT. This critical role involves supporting various operations that interface with the Federal Reserve system, ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency in our financial transactions and asset management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial protocols, exceptional organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to security and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the processing and verification of cash, securities, and other valuable assets within a secure environment.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to Federal Reserve transactions and internal audits.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all security protocols, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment for currency and asset handling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on daily activities and transaction volumes.
  • Participate in regular security training and compliance updates.
  • Support the management of access control and inventory systems within the secure facility.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a financial or secure operations environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and data security principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated and structured environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to lift and move moderate weights (e.g., currency bags, asset boxes).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with Federal Reserve processes or central banking operations.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC).
  • Experience with inventory management or vault operations systems.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one.
