Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Festival Wristband / Accreditation Staff for various temporary summer events in Osoyoos. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for temporary work in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for many festival-goers, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive entry experience. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently distribute wristbands, credentials, and accreditation passes to attendees, artists, staff, and VIPs.
  • Verify tickets, digital passes, and identification to ensure proper entry.
  • Provide clear and friendly directions and information to festival attendees regarding event schedules, venues, and facilities.
  • Assist with managing entry lines and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
  • Handle cash and card transactions for on-site ticket sales or upgrades, if required.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Adhere to all event policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts.
  • Basic mathematical skills for potential cash handling.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in events, customer service, or retail.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or accreditation systems.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages (e.g., French).
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License (asset, but not required).
