Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Festival Wristband / Accreditation Staff for various temporary summer events in Osoyoos. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for temporary work in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for many festival-goers, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive entry experience. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently distribute wristbands, credentials, and accreditation passes to attendees, artists, staff, and VIPs.
- Verify tickets, digital passes, and identification to ensure proper entry.
- Provide clear and friendly directions and information to festival attendees regarding event schedules, venues, and facilities.
- Assist with managing entry lines and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
- Handle cash and card transactions for on-site ticket sales or upgrades, if required.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all event policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts.
- Basic mathematical skills for potential cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating great experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in events, customer service, or retail.
- Familiarity with ticketing or accreditation systems.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages (e.g., French).
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License (asset, but not required).
