Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our cabin crew team as Flight Attendants based in Geraldton. As a Flight Attendant with Qantas, you will be the face of our airline, playing a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our passengers. This role requires a commitment to excellence in customer service, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to uphold our rigorous safety standards and deliver an outstanding in-flight experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew members in accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating passenger needs and responding to requests professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks and brief passengers on safety procedures, including the use of emergency equipment.
- Serve meals, beverages, and duty-free products, managing transactions accurately.
- Handle passenger queries, resolve issues, and provide assistance with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Administer first aid and respond to in-flight emergencies, ensuring passenger welfare.
- Work collaboratively with the flight deck crew and other cabin crew members to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
- Adhere to strict grooming and uniform standards, representing the Qantas brand with pride.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and effective in high-pressure situations.
- High level of adaptability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid Australian or New Zealand passport with no travel restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, retail, tourism).
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- A tertiary qualification in hospitality or tourism.
