Job Description

You’ll be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them promptly and courteously to customers. No prior professional delivery experience is required; we’re looking for safe drivers with a customer-focused attitude ready to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up food orders from various restaurants.
- Deliver food orders to customers' homes or designated locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with restaurant staff and customers.
- Handle food with care to ensure quality upon delivery.
- Manage delivery routes effectively using a smartphone application.
- Ensure accurate order delivery and, where applicable, process payments.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (car or scooter) with valid insurance and MOT
- Valid right to work in the UK
- A smartphone with data access for the delivery app
- Ability to navigate using GPS
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Preston area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Strong communication skills
