Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Foreign Language Teachers to join our dynamic faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified educators specializing in Spanish, French, or Mandarin to contribute to our robust language program. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective language instruction to students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and promote student success in language acquisition.
- Teach Spanish, French, or Mandarin language and culture to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and intercultural understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in professional development activities and school-wide events.
- Integrate technology effectively to enhance language learning experiences.
Required Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, French, or Mandarin (one or more).
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to teach a foreign language effectively.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a relevant foreign language field (Master's preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in home country or Canada.
- Prior experience teaching a foreign language at the primary or secondary level.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB, AP).
