Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organised Front Desk Clerk to join our team in Townsville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable hours in a dynamic environment, with full training provided regardless of prior experience. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage reservations, including inputting new bookings, modifying existing ones, and handling cancellations
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly, escalating when necessary
  • Process payments, manage cash drawer, and ensure accurate billing
  • Maintain a tidy and organised front desk and lobby area
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
