Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick grocery items from store shelves based on customer orders.
- Ensure the quality, freshness, and proper condition of all selected products.
- Meet time-sensitive deadlines for order completion to ensure timely customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shopping aisles and staging areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding product availability or customer preferences.
- Assist with other store duties as needed to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to fulfill customer orders correctly.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to a consistent work schedule.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25-50 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (even informal).
