Job Description
Are you seeking flexible casual work with attractive weekend pay rates? Horizon Events & Catering is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Function Staff to join our dynamic team in Whyalla. Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and packing down event spaces according to client specifications
- Serving food and beverages to guests with a friendly and efficient manner
- Ensuring cleanliness and presentation of function areas throughout events
- Assisting with basic food preparation and presentation as required
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to guest inquiries politely
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is a plus, but not essential
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Food Handler's Certificate
