Job Description
Tesco is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Goods-In Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team in Corby. This hybrid role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in logistics and warehousing, combining essential administrative tasks with practical warehouse operations. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming goods, playing a vital part in our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, inspect, and log all incoming deliveries.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
- Organise and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our internal systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Assist with other administrative and warehouse tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Good organisational skills.

- Ability to lift and move packages (within safe limits).
