Job Description
Join Serco as a Government Building Janitor in Guildford. This is a vital full-time role ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of a key government facility. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of environmental upkeep, contributing to a safe and pleasant working atmosphere for all building occupants. We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual who takes pride in their work and can adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, and security procedures specific to government facilities.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to special cleaning requests.
Required Skills
