Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise accurately and efficiently onto shelves, displays, and in storage areas.
- Ensure products are correctly priced, faced, and rotated according to company standards.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including aisles and backroom areas.
- Operate baler, pallet jack, and other equipment safely after proper training.
- Remove damaged or expired products from shelves and dispose of them properly.
- Support inventory management by assisting with counts and identifying out-of-stock items.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (even if not grocery-related).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
