Job Description

Telstra is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Chat-Based Helpdesk Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in IT support, with all necessary IT equipment provided by the company. As a Helpdesk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing essential support through our chat platform. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in this role. We value your problem-solving skills and your ability to connect with customers to resolve their queries efficiently and effectively. This position is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to Telstra products and services.
- Provide clear, step-by-step instructions and solutions to customers.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in our system.
- Adhere to company policies and service level agreements.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with navigating various software applications.
