Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic role to help deliver essential goods during the busiest time of the year? Woolworths Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Picker & Packers to join our Townsville distribution centre for the upcoming Christmas and peak season. This temporary role is crucial in ensuring our stores are stocked, and customers receive their orders promptly. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to get you up to speed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute to a fantastic team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders and store replenishment items.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Perform quality checks on products before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items (up to 15kg) for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fast-paced environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays during peak season.
