Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to lead the operations of Hilton Coventry. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader passionate about delivering outstanding guest service, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving financial success. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for all aspects of hotel performance, including guest satisfaction, team member development, sales, and financial management. You will champion the Hilton brand standards and ensure our hotel remains a top choice in the Coventry area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets, including revenue generation, cost control, and profit maximization.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Hilton brand standards, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Represent the hotel within the local community and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in hotel management or a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, systems, and guest service principles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with the Hilton brand or other large international hotel chains.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
  • Strong local market knowledge of Coventry and the West Midlands.
