Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hotel Porter with a strong focus on customer service to join our team for day shifts. In this vital front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless experience from arrival to departure. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting guests with luggage, providing information, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the lobby and public areas. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys interacting with people and is committed to delivering outstanding service with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring efficient and careful transport to their rooms.
- Provide comprehensive information to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Broome.
- Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and any other needs they may have, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and public areas throughout the day.
- Monitor security of guest luggage and hotel property, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with the coordination of transport services for guests, including taxis and airport shuttles.
- Support other hotel departments as needed, ensuring a collaborative and efficient operation.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, seeking to resolve issues promptly.

- Knowledge of the local Broome area and attractions.

- Valid Australian Driver's License.
