Job Description
We are seeking skilled and motivated HVAC Technicians to join our growing team in Moncton, New Brunswick. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to properly install and troubleshoot systems.
- Educate clients on system operations, maintenance, and energy-saving tips.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to refrigerant handling and electrical work.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every interaction.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Proven expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, leak detectors, manifold gauges).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC Red Seal Certification (or equivalent international certification).
- Gas Fitter License (G1 or G2).
- Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) certification.
- Experience with smart home HVAC technologies and building automation systems.
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
- Additional certifications in specific HVAC technologies or brands.
