Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as Industrial Sewers for casual day shifts in Renmark. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in textile manufacturing, as full training will be provided. No prior experience is necessary – we are looking for individuals with a strong willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. You will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce a variety of textile products, ensuring all items meet our rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, coverstitch) safely and efficiently after training.
- Perform various sewing tasks, including stitching seams, hemming, attaching labels, and finishing edges.
- Follow production orders and specifications accurately.
- Inspect finished products for quality defects and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other production tasks as required.
