Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Internet of Things (IoT) Engineering Intern to join our innovative Smart Devices team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge IoT solutions that enhance our audio products and smart home ecosystem. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to real-world projects and learning about the full lifecycle of IoT product development. This is an entry-level position where curiosity and a willingness to learn are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and prototyping of IoT devices and systems for smart audio products.
  • Support the integration of sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless communication modules into new and existing products.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of IoT firmware and hardware components.
  • Contribute to the debugging and troubleshooting of technical issues.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and experimental results.
  • Research new IoT technologies, protocols, and industry trends to inform future product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and product management.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and circuit design principles.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python).
  • Eagerness to learn about IoT technologies, embedded systems, and wireless communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi).
  • Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
  • Familiarity with embedded software development tools and environments.
  • Previous experience with hardware prototyping and soldering.
  • Personal projects related to IoT or smart devices.
