Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our growing software delivery team in North Lakes. You will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of our software development projects, working closely with Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing software development projects.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and track key milestones, escalating issues as necessary.
- Facilitate team meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring timely updates.
- Support the creation and tracking of project budgets and resource allocation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the project management office.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months experience in an administrative, coordination, or entry-level project role within an IT or tech-related environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong interest in software development and project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience in a software development or IT services company.
