Job Description
Are you passionate about data and eager to kickstart a career in the dynamic world of SEO? First Page Digital Australia is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior SEO Data Analyst to join our expanding remote team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform our SEO strategies, helping clients achieve their online visibility goals. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and aggregating SEO performance data from various sources (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO tools).
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in client SEO campaigns.
- Support the creation of regular performance reports and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Assist with keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
- Utilise SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush) under guidance to extract relevant data.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists and content creators to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Participate in training sessions and continuously develop your understanding of SEO best practices and data analysis techniques.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and basic analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- No prior SEO experience is required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, particularly SEO.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Experience with any data visualisation tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau) is a bonus.
