Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Charity Commission Admin to join our dedicated team in Fortitude Valley. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our non-profit regulation and advisory services. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of compliance processes, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication between our consultants and clients in the charitable sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organise client files and documentation related to non-profit regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of various regulatory reports and applications.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and client communications, including drafting correspondence.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases and tracking systems for regulatory deadlines and client interactions.
  • Conduct basic research to support regulatory queries and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and other financial administration tasks as required.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry, scanning, and filing.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within a professional services or regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database management systems or CRM software.
  • Understanding of the Australian non-profit sector and its regulatory landscape.
  • Relevant certifications in administration or business support.
