Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Local Council Ward Security Patrol officers in Stoke-on-Trent. This crucial role involves patrolling designated council wards to ensure the safety and security of residents, public spaces, and council properties. You will be a visible deterrent to anti-social behaviour, provide a reassuring presence for the community, and report any incidents or concerns. Full uniform will be provided, ensuring you are well-equipped and professionally presented. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, have strong observational skills, and are committed to making a positive impact on their local community. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular foot patrols within assigned local council wards and public areas.
  • Monitor for any suspicious activities, security breaches, or potential hazards.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, following established procedures.
  • Liaise with members of the public, providing assistance and information as required.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanour at all times.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure uniform and equipment are well-maintained and in good order.
