Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team, focusing on weddings and special events. This role requires an individual with proven expertise in a wide range of makeup styles, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional client communication skills. You will be instrumental in bringing our clients’ visions to life, ensuring they look and feel their absolute best for their significant occasions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup artistry for weddings, engagement shoots, formals, and other special events.
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to understand desired looks, skin types, and preferences.
- Create diverse makeup looks from natural and classic to glamorous and avant-garde, adaptable to various skin tones and face shapes.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Manage and organize personal makeup kit, ensuring all products are well-stocked and professional grade.
- Travel to various on-site locations across the Gold Coast region as required for client bookings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Collaborate effectively with photographers, hairstylists, and event planners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product innovations.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in bridal and special event makeup artistry.
- Proficient in various makeup techniques and styles (e.g., airbrush, traditional, contouring, highlighting).
- Strong understanding of color theory, facial anatomy, and skin types.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
